Dear Friends,
I have just returned from the experience of CREDO at Bishop's Ranch in Healdsburg, California. In that beautiful Russian River Valley setting, almost thirty priests from across the country and engaged in a variety of ministries gathered for a sox day period.
We were blessed with the company and input of a fine faculty, led ably by the Reverend Martha Horne, who served as long-time Dean of Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria and continues to be extraordinarily active and effective in theological education and many other spheres of church life. These fine professionals led us in consultation and enrichment regarding our spirituality, our vocation, and our physical and financial health.
It was a fine and enriching experience provided to clergy by the Church Pension Fund. I am, and will remain, grateful.
